This notice explains what personal data Comfy Colours collects and why. The data controller is Taylor Stevenson, trading as Comfy Colours, of Flat 7, 5 Wilcox Road, London, SW8 2XA — contact us at taylor.stevenson@tazwin.co.uk.

What we collect: when you place an order we collect your email address, your name, and your shipping address, and we keep a record of what you bought. That's it — we don't run accounts, and we don't collect anything while you're just browsing. Your cart is stored only in your own browser.

Payments: card details are collected and processed by Stripe on their own systems and never touch ours. Stripe acts as our payment processor; their privacy notice is at stripe.com/privacy.

Why we process your data: we use your details to fulfil your order and send you order emails (performance of a contract), and we keep order records afterwards for accounting and tax purposes (legal obligation).

Who we share it with: your name and shipping address go to our print partner, Printful, solely to print and post your order. Order emails are sent through Postmark. Our website and database run on Vercel and Neon. Each of these providers processes data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it: order records (including your email and shipping address) are kept for 6 years to meet UK accounting rules, then deleted. We don't use your email for marketing.

Your rights: you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we're not legally required to keep — reply to any order email or contact taylor.stevenson@tazwin.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies: we don't set advertising or analytics cookies. The site uses only the storage strictly necessary to run (such as remembering your cart in your browser), which is why there's no cookie banner to click.
